sometimes i feel that i'm a different person altogether, ordinary me in the morning and a superhero at night, maybe not super or heroic but still an alter ego, emo-man. when all goes quiet, my head starts to think intruging thoughts, poinganat but still intruiging. but one thing seems constant, this feeling that is best expressed in a song.
Lenny Kravitz I'll Be Waiting
You're hurt inside
Because there's a hole
You need some time
To be alone
Then you will find
What you've always known
I'm the one who really loves you baby
I've been knocking at your door
As long as I'm living, I'll Be Waiting
As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there
Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I've seen you cry
Into the night
I feel your pain
Can I make it right
I realize, there's no end in sight
Yet still I'll wait
For you to see the light
I'm the one who really loves you baby
I can't take it anymore
As long as I'm living, I'll be waiting
As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there
Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
You are my only I've ever known
That makes me feel this way
Couldn't on my own
I want to be with you until we're old
You have the love you need right in front of you
Please come home
As long as I'm living, I'll be waiting
As long as I'm breathing, I'll be there
Whenever you call me, I'll be waiting
Whenever you need me, I'll be there

Labels: belated christmas at clara's hse, Christmas at club july, dinner at RamaThai, taiwan/HK trip, YEC meeting
Yo peeps, i'm back again after like 2 weeks and a day of blog drought-yea i know it kinda was hard to start again (miss me? =))
The 6 days spent in taiwan were FunHecticBoringHecticNauseatedHecticTiringHectic to describe it in a word-ok not really a word but it will be if u say it in a rush... but u get the picture. As much as i want to give a blow by blow account of the 6 days, i'm sure my sis would do a slightly better descriptive job (at least i hope) and in an effort to save space on the internet i shall not double post-ok i admit i'm making juz a teeny bit of excuses to coverup for my laziness-but the photos should be up in my facebook if all goes well with my internet (its acting cranky again)
Hong Kong
the 3 days spent in Hong Kong was less hectic, partly cos it was more free and easy and much more fun cos we were spending time with our family friends in HK, buying more of my stuff (at last) and of course we went to ocean park HK, to feel the magic of christmas, enjoy the spectecular view in the cable car ride down the mountain and last and de-fi-net-ly not the least, the thrill rides. Due to the inexplicibly-ok not really unexplainable juz like the sound of the word-long queues caused by the many chinese nationals uncouth acts of queue-cutting and the allure that the thrill rides have to the general populance that comprise of adrenaline junkies, i was only able to go on a handfull of rides in the teenage/adult-oriented area. Though i enjoyed the log ride better in taiwan, the ride in HK was more fun for another reason. The minirollercoaster "minetrain" was enjoyable as well though we weren't able to get on the real rollercoaster that looked on the map and on real live as though the constructors of the park asked their 3 year old kid to doodle on a piece of paper and then build it according to scale that would have left me with enough adrenaline to get me thru the day and more. At the kids' area, we were of course too embarrassed to sit on the ride-with the exception of my sis (who thinks she is cute enough to get away with it)-and thus spent some money on the fun fair games (dont ask we were really bad at it) and managed to win a prize whilst my uncle who was obviously more well-adapted to playing these games got away with 4 prizes with the same amount of money we spent or slightly more/less.
On the whole i enjoyed, the HK trip better than the Taiwan trip, truly the sayings that "the crowd makes the party" and "short is sweet" holds a very large amount of truth in it.
YEC Meeting
The meeting was relatively more eventful then usual as more of the old crowd were there and i invited clara along as an observer. It was kinda hilarious (no offense clara) when they thought that me and clara were a couple and tried to shoot lots of dual-pronged hidden-arrows (inside joke) at the both of us until we both admantly protested against anything that hinted at a non-platonic relationship between the both of us. Kinda sorry i missed percussion training that seemed so much fun-will try to make it tmr.
Club July
The countdown-to-christmas party with my family, my uncle(the same one who won the prizes for his kids) and his family & another group of family friends from the same clique as the HK ones. We had many games of pool (i didnt count) at a pool table i initially thought was old but turned out to be a competition-standard table at $2 per game and found out that i lost some of my skill with the cue, i could no longer up-down/double the balls, jump balls, stopball and proxy the balls as well/at all. In between the snack breaks and pool games, we sang some K and was told by quite a few ppl that my singing voice improved/was good xD (my head is not getting bigger... really...ok maybe juz a little) and we counted down to the christmas day and had some prizes up for grabs it was a pity we didnt win the top few prizes but were still not too disappointed at the consolation prize and on top of that there were individual goodie bags to be recieved (sure it was just two packets of oreos but it was the thought that counts after all the club didn't seem too busy and there were quite many customers) kudos to them for excellent service. The day ended splendidly with the countdown and it was christmas day for about an hour before we went back home to rest before heading out on the next day.
the foundue party turned out reasonably well with lots of fun and excitement during both the pre and duration of the party. cheesecake turned out quite literely a mess and no one got really drunk with the execption of wingdam who had to be sent home in a cab which might or might not be detrimental to clara's social health. but thanks clara anyways for inviting us over today and sorry i couldnt stay longer to help with cleanup and for bringing the vodka it might be still partly my fault. And i think i can safely say that the bulk of us (h@y, boey, edi, nini, sam, slow, jojo and I) enjoyed the get together at least abit, i know i did.
well thats all for this unusually long entry, kinda tired and gg to sleep soon good night all.
PS: i think i juz broke the 1200 word barrier with these words juz right about at the full-stop.

Mann.. the supposed class gathering yesterday was the mother of all posible flops, for a start, the number of people present was a grand total of........
five (out of forty)
yea, pathetic i know, it was probably a result of our organiser, calista changing the date and not confirming it, having lots of communication breakdowns, and mainly poor organisation. I suppose i shouldn't blame her for all of it as she has too much on her plate but seriously, when push comes to shove surely there would have been a backup plan and not simply shifting the burden to another person and in the process try absolving yourself from any blame and simply not show up at all.
Yeah well drew, i agree with you on this SHIT HAPPENS.
moving on to the more optimistic view on things, at least the gatering was a small reunion for the 5 of us and we caught up on quite alot of stuff, besides chilling and stuffing our faces with junk food of course (thanks mrs calais for the food and drinks and ur house). The occasion was one of mixed feelings with happiness, sadness, melowness and... i think u know wad i mean
we left surprisingly late as we had lots to talk about and on the bus back we met some old friends of ours, the day was kinda memorable as it was like a sort of a catch-up-day for us and yea we took some photos together before leaving and i'll upload it soon...
for now i'm simply looking foward to my taiwan and hong kong trip coming soon so till my next post....

The weekend was uneventful, as usual and the thing i looked foward to the most fell through, an ubin bike trip with my friends yeaterday. The morning turned out to be sunny with a slightly overcast sky but nonetheless we were undetered and prayed hard it wouldn't rain and that if it did it would be a passing shower, but alas the prayer didnt come true and whilst cycling down towards the shell station with zeng to meet drew, it started drizziling. However we still had hope, and not wanting to let rm wait in vain for us, we decided to stick to the first part of our original plan and get to changi v for breakfast, so we did and got slightly wet in the process. There we had an excellent breakfast though i only had some drinks while the others ate. After chatting and waiting for about an hour or two for the rain to stop, but to no avail, we decided to abandon this trip and postpone it to a more sunny day and bike back to drew's house to chill. The cycle back was fun in its unique way, never had we more fun getting drenched in the rain and we enjoyed the workout upslopes-though our legs went numb from the effort-and enjoyed the fruit of our labour going down slopes. The only other event that was to be of consequence was my falling off the bike, well what can i say, at the area outside elias mall my bike went over a tree branch at a wrong angle and my front wheel went off the track with my back wheel remaining on it-like the bike wanted to do a grind on the pavement on its own accord, resulting in my fall, which i escaped unscathed save for a small graze on the heel of my left hand. At last we reached drew's house and there we chilled gor the afternoon, with the four of us watching heroes season 3, playing ridiculously mindless online games, and cooking lunch ourselves and having oddly concocted 'tea'-i shan't elaborate but i will only say that mine was just a little sweet. Following that we headed down to the lan shop at elias where we played dota with rm having his first dota match ever. And then before we knew it, it was time to leave and bid our adieus.
However my evening did not stop there, i biked down to my uncle's place to meet them and my parents for dinner and we headed to oasis where my aunt treated us to a sumptuous meal, which i regret to say pales in comparison to the time we last had an oasis dinner, well i guess they changed the chef for one reason or another and then quality of food dropped. But our desert, mango pudding was gooood. Well enough of me talking, i guess you want to see some photos of the failed ubin trip so here it is....
Slurpp..
rm and drew on our bikes with zeng the cameraman
that them and me again (okay my smile seriously looks kinda spastic)
Act cool... while drenched =)
zeng the man
and presenting the adventurers ant drew's room by height..with me on the left (obviously)
whats over there? (seceret smile)
well thats it for now, really looking foward to having a reunion with my sec 1A, 2A classmates, a long time since i've seen you guys how has it been *waves* well we'll juz have to catch up then. Till my next post, Adiós...

Prom was a fun filled evening yesterday where all us J2s let our hair down and par-tied. the MC was great and with the company of friends and new aquantainces alike, the evening turned out spectucularly well. However the main drawback came from the food-which many from my table would agree-it was simply too spicy, every other dish was filled with chill or pepper as our table was a halal table, and the best part was that of all the people on the table, none of us were muslim... which makes me wonder how well the councillors could plan tables... oh well que sera sera.
On a lighter note, post-prom was great despite the dreary music, the dj changing the song every halfway through the corus, lack of alchol to spice up e dances. It was great due to the company of friends both long lost and new found, the arrival of the crowd of gate crashers which faithfully stuck to the rule of "no tix? come at 2330", and the many photos taken dazzling the eyes (speaking of which going to up load the photos later) capturing the transformations that all of us undergo for prom, sealing our metamorphisis in many a digital media.
Alrights I have to go now, till my next post....

Haha, it has been a long time since i last posted, hopefully my posts would not dry up so fast(if ever).
This past weeks after A's have been steadily getting more boring than ever. Its kinda funny how games that seemed to be so fun during the school term can lose its allure when we are really free to play them in our leisure. Anyways after a tedious round of searching and trawling through webpages, i finally found a slightly different game from the norm, ACE online, featuring a flight simulator interface and coupled with interesting missions and great graphics to top off, it seems like a really fun game to play, whats more its free, so for all u gaming fans out there who wanna try something new, here's your chance.
Now back in real life, i have been trying to look for a part time job for ages, albeit the relief teaching one in my secondary school where the school will call me up in the morning if they need any relief teachers, besides any teaching related jobs would only start in Jan so what would i do with all this free time i have from now till then? (any one with jobs to recommend) I tried Ikea next and submitted my application, i have to admit, i was kinda apprenhensive about a job interview, but it turns out that all i needed to do was submit a form and wait patiently for their call. Following that i approached addidas to check out if they were willing to take me on as a retail assistant, the sales person was really hostile (as though i was gonna snatch his job from him) and told me in a no-nonsense manner that they had no vacancies available when they clearly looked short-handed, oh wells...
To talk about more exciting things, Prom is tmr, can't wait really (which is kinda weird for a guy...i know) but then again, seeing that my last supposed prom in secondary school was canceled due to insufficent demand, i am determined to enjoy myself. Later today going over to daniel's house to chill and get away from the com, since my good mum has been constantly complaining that i'm using too much electricity by staying at home and using the computer and all the usual deja moo so i juz side-stepped the problem and do someting different (its a good way to break from the borederm of home), we were supposed to go to the beach for a fun day out in the sun but baka boey couldnt come so slowie canceled with the gang when we could actually juz ps him (no offence boey) and enjoy ourselves and force boey to try asking his mum again. Oh wells as a friend of mine likes to say, shit happens.
Well enough of that, leaving home soon maybe i'll blog later with updates on my day in daniel's hse. hahas till then...
